About the Program

The goal of the Rowan MEM is to effectively prepare engineers for management level positions. Students in this program receive knowledge of administrative procedures such as budgeting, strategic decision making, and supervising. Also, the combination of courses from Rowan’s ABET accredited College of Engineering and AACSB accredited Rohrer College of Business equips students with the ideal balance of advanced technical knowledge and managerial skills required to advance as managers.

Program Curriculum

The MEM is a part-time program offered in an accelerated online format. This degree requires the completion of 30 graduate semester hours or 10 courses. Two courses are scheduled per semester for five consecutive semesters resulting in possible degree completion in less than 24 months.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
• CGCE Graduate, Post-Bac & Doctoral Application form (pdf)
• One official transcript from all colleges attended
• Two letters of recommendation
• Statement of professional objectives
• CGCE Foundation Course Completion form (pdf)
• $50 application fee
• No standardized test requirement
